Vinology's Burns' Night Bash

A definite date for your diary, we’re pleased to be able to announce the full details of Vinology's Annual Burn’s Night Bash.

It’s the fun event of the year… And to make it even more jolly, the theme for 2012 is Cask Strength. It’s the Burns’ Bash you know and love – just that little bit stronger!

Again, due to demand, for 2012 we will be hosting not one, but two nights of whisky fun.  On Friday, 20^th January we will be at the Grosvenor Hotel, Warwick Road, here in Stratford then, the following week, Friday 27^th, we will be travelling over to Leamington Spa to host another evening at the Angel Hotel on Regent Street. Both of these fun nights will consist of a tasting of 6 cask strength single malt Whiskies, the world’s best toast to the haggis, a chorus of pipers and of course a traditional Scottish supper of Haggis, neeps and tatties served in more than generous portions.  Bookings are now being taken; please book this one very early to avoid disappointment.  A £10pp deposit is required to secure your booking.

The Whisky Olympics

As every bandwagon requires jumping on and as 2012 sees the arrival of the Olympics to London, in April we will be hosting our very own “Whisky Olympics”.  For this exciting event we will be conducting a tasting of fine single malts from nations across the world.  To make this event even more exciting and interesting, all of the whiskies will be tasted blind, with their true identities known only to us!  After each whisky we will be asking every individual to score that whisky and at the end of the night we will be announcing our gold, silver and bronze medal winners!  For this evening of whisky fun, we will be heading over to the Angel Hotel on Regent Street in Leamington Spa.  So give us a call or email to book your places! Tickets are priced at just £25 per person including a full dinner and all of your drams.

Please note that a £10 per person deposit is required to confirm your booking.

For this event we will be running a free minibus service from Stratford-Upon-Avon. This will collect from Rother Street at 7:00pm and return at approximately 11:00pm. To take advantage of this free service, please inform us when you book.

Vinology's Speyside VIP Whisky Tour

We’re thrilled to be able to release the details of Vinology’s Speyside Whisky Tour 2012. On Sunday 15th July this year we will be departing by luxury executive coach and over the course of 5 days we will be visiting no less than 7 distilleries, staying in 3 hotels including the world famous luxury Craigellachie hotel, finishing back in Warwickshire on Thursday July 19th.

So if you’re interested in joining us for the ultimate Whisky trip of a lifetime, please enquire for more information and we’ll ensure you’re updated with all details. A detailed proposed itinerary is now available, please ask for a copy of this if you’re interested in attending.

If you want to join us, confirmation will be required at the end of February at which time a £200 per-person non-refundable deposit will be required. Full payment will be required six weeks before we travel.
